It’s important
to remember that your wedding DJ won’t just provide music for your big day.
From keeping the dance floor packed, reading the room, and acting as an MC,
your wedding DJ will have many roles to play to keep your wedding flowing in
the right direction.
As you plan
your wedding, you will hire many vendors, all of which should be informed of
certain information regarding your big day. Are you aware of what you should
tell your wedding DJ?
Planning a
wedding is a big task! That’s why, here at Naples DJ, we would like to assist in
your planning by letting you know of some key things that you should tell your
wedding DJ. If you are interested to learn what these things are, be sure to
continue reading to discover more:
·
Pronunciation. We aren’t all granted wit
easy names to pronounce. And, sometimes the spelling of your name may appear a certain
way, but sound another. It is important to inform your DJ of how to pronounce
your names, along with any members of your wedding who may need to be
introduced. This way, no mishaps will occur with any introductions.
·
The “do not play” list. If you are open to an array
of songs to be played within your wedding, that’s great! However, we all have
songs that we don’t quite care for, or wouldn’t find appropriate for a wedding.
If so, you will want to create a “do not play” list to present your DJ with, to
ensure that those unfortunate songs are not presented on your special day.
·
Song requests. Some couples are open to
song requests, while others are not. You will want to inform your DJ of your
preferences, so that they know whether to accept or deny any requests made by
your guests. If you would like to incorporate some songs chosen by your guests,
you can send music request cards along with your RSVP’s, which guests can then
return back to you. This way, you can develop the perfect playlist to please everyone.
With these
tips, you can ensure that your wedding music is planned to perfection! If you
are all set to hire your Naples wedding DJ, please feel free to get in touch with us here at Naples DJ. We look forward to providing your Naples wedding music.
