Matthew and Elizabeth 04.05.2014

These two young professionals were referred to us by another previous couple that chose us for their wedding entertainment!  Thank You Nick and Jamie!  When Matt and Liz first reserved our services they were living in Fort Myers, FL.  Approximately four months later they had moved to Michigan! No worries we told them, we do, and have worked with many wedding couples that are out of state.

Liz and Matt chose us to do their Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception and also our Monogram Projection set up.  This meant our day started early too.

It was our first time performing at the Olde Hickory Golf and Country Club.  What a gem this facility is!  The Ceremony took place on the golf course green at the back of the club.  It was a warm beautiful day!  The Cocktail Hour followed upstairs in the main ballroom, which was perfect for all to enjoy the air conditioning and the amazing monogram projection that the wedding couple designed!

Scott introduced the Ushers and Bridal Party to "Bring 'Em Out" by T.I.  The New Bride and Groom chose to be welcomed in to the song "The Downeaster Alexa" by Billy Joel!  They went right to the middle of the dance floor to have their First Dance together as Husband and Wife.  Their special song they danced to was "All Of Me" by John Legend.  After their dance they stepped over to do their Cake Cutting in order to let the staff be prepared to serve cake right away as dessert along with the Champagne toasts.  The song for the cutting of the cake was "How Sweet It Is" by Michael Buble.

Matt and Liz were doing a great job getting around to seeing all there guests during dinner, which made a great transition into the Parent Dances.

Father / Daughter song: "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle (our special edited version).
Mother / Son song: "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts.

They chose to have some dancing under way before we had them do the Bouquet and Garter tradition.  Garter Removed: "Foxy Lady" Jimi Hendrix
Bouquet Toss: "Findin' A Good Man" Danielle Peck
Garter Toss: "Black Betty" Ram Jam

Of course we had to play the Michigan Fight Song and the Ohio State Song- " Hang On Sloopy"

Liz and Matt wanted a fun party and what a success it was!  The reception ended with "Friends In Low Places" by Garth Brooks.  It was a great party!  I'm sure the photographer Maria Glassford was able to get some great fun shots.  For their Honeymoon they went to St. Lucia to a Sandals Resort!

Oh!  Thank you Liz and Matt for that wonderfully detailed, AWESOME review for us on Wedding Wire!
