Billy & Kayla Saturday 05.23.15

Kayla met Billy eight years ago as she moved into her new apartment in Gainesville.  They actually met the very first night she moved in, and they have been inseparable ever since.

They are such a great couple... they compliment each other so well.  Simply put, they are a happy couple.  And together they face many challenges, yet keep moving happily forward.  Billy works in West Palm Beach, while Kayla is in the doctorate program at University of Miami. An hour and a half commute doesn't interrupt their lives together though....

Their latest challenge was on Thursday morning, the day Billy was leaving for Naples for their wedding.... Their beloved dog had a misstep, and tore its ACL...  !  So sad, but with the help of a great vet and great friends, everything is well for all.

Ninety guests gathered at the Hilton Naples to celebrate with them.  It has been a while since we were at the Hilton, and we enjoyed catching up with Ashley and her assistant Tess.  Kayla and Billy have raved about how great Ashley has been in their preparation.  The ballroom looked elegantly beautiful, as the white covered chairs were accented with a blue sash, and the room was uplit with cool white led lighting.

The reception began at 8:30 pm, as the wedding party was introduced to Sam and Dave's classic "Hold On I'm Coming."  Kayla and Billy shared their first dance as husband and wife to Etta James' "At Last."  Dinner was ready in a timely manner, a reflection of the excellent service at the Hilton Naples.

After salads, toasts were made by both sets of parents, the matron of honor, the best man, and then Kayla & Billy shared a few words as they thanked everyone for sharing in the day.
Thank you 41 Photo and Video for sharing this pic with us!

A photo booth was set up by the videographers Joe & DeAnne of 41 Photo and Video.  Guests had a blast with that, as well as enjoying delicious cupcakes for dessert.

The party started quickly, as dancing began on the large dance floor.  Guests had fun as the dancing continued on until nearly 1:00 am.   We were so happy to be part of their wedding day.  Congratulations!
