Congratulations! #1 Song On BILLBOARD

We want to congratulate our good friend Janice Robinson, who is currently holding the #1 Song on Billboard's Dance Chart 2015 - "There Must Be Love"!  Great news for a wonderful person.

Last spring, she teamed up with International DJ David Morales, who had a song he had written - and only one person he thought of to sing it.  Janice spent the weekend recording with David and have more hits coming.

Janice was the lead singer in the 90s ultra dance hit "Dreamer" of the group Livin' Joy.  We still love that song.

Janice has opened for Tina Turner, and has also toured with the Backstreet Boys.

She now resides in Naples, and still has an incredible voice!  She is such a positive spiritual person.

Way to go Janice!  Wishing you many more successes!

Billy & Kayla Saturday 05.23.15

Kayla met Billy eight years ago as she moved into her new apartment in Gainesville.  They actually met the very first night she moved in, and they have been inseparable ever since.

They are such a great couple... they compliment each other so well.  Simply put, they are a happy couple.  And together they face many challenges, yet keep moving happily forward.  Billy works in West Palm Beach, while Kayla is in the doctorate program at University of Miami. An hour and a half commute doesn't interrupt their lives together though....

Their latest challenge was on Thursday morning, the day Billy was leaving for Naples for their wedding.... Their beloved dog had a misstep, and tore its ACL...  !  So sad, but with the help of a great vet and great friends, everything is well for all.

Ninety guests gathered at the Hilton Naples to celebrate with them.  It has been a while since we were at the Hilton, and we enjoyed catching up with Ashley and her assistant Tess.  Kayla and Billy have raved about how great Ashley has been in their preparation.  The ballroom looked elegantly beautiful, as the white covered chairs were accented with a blue sash, and the room was uplit with cool white led lighting.

The reception began at 8:30 pm, as the wedding party was introduced to Sam and Dave's classic "Hold On I'm Coming."  Kayla and Billy shared their first dance as husband and wife to Etta James' "At Last."  Dinner was ready in a timely manner, a reflection of the excellent service at the Hilton Naples.

After salads, toasts were made by both sets of parents, the matron of honor, the best man, and then Kayla & Billy shared a few words as they thanked everyone for sharing in the day.
Thank you 41 Photo and Video for sharing this pic with us!

A photo booth was set up by the videographers Joe & DeAnne of 41 Photo and Video.  Guests had a blast with that, as well as enjoying delicious cupcakes for dessert.

The party started quickly, as dancing began on the large dance floor.  Guests had fun as the dancing continued on until nearly 1:00 am.   We were so happy to be part of their wedding day.  Congratulations!

Brandon & Neissa 6.6.2015

Another beautiful young couple we had the honor of celebrating with!  These two met in High School their Sophmore year and now they've gotten married!  They've already been through some testing times which only proves how happy they're going to be together.

Brandon & Neissa chose to get married and have the reception at Laplaya Beach Resort here in Naples, Florida.  We always enjoy working there with all the staff.  They are like family to us and always do such a great job for all these couples.

Along with music we also provided Neissa & Brandon with purple uplighting and a Monogram Projection for the dance floor.  We enjoyed as always working with the photographers, Karl & Nannette from Luminaire Foto.  They always do a great job!

In attendance the newly weds had approximately 57 guests that traveled mostly from Pittsburg, PA.  We started off introducing the Bridal Attendants including the Parents to "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO.  Brandon & Neissa chose a song very special to them that we edited to be just right.  "Give It All" by Train.  Their First Dance song was also by Train, "Marry Me".

When we met with Neissa & Brandon before their wedding date they told us they that they love to dance and wanted a lot of it.  They're Honeymooning on a "Joint Honeymoon" to Sandals in Jamaica with another couple that was also recently married.  I'm sure they're all going to have a great time talking about all the fun they've had!  Congratulations!

Chris & Sarah Friday 05.22.15

Chris & Sarah met each other a year and a half ago, and have been inseparable since.  Family means so much to the couple, and Friday signified the joining of two families, as forty guests gathered for the celebration.

Chris and Sarah planned the wedding from their home in Illinois, taking a few trips to visit with Sarah's parents in Naples.  They chose the Naples Bay Resort as their destination location, which is a beautiful spot on the water in downtown Naples.

We were so glad to see Lexi again - she is the fun, professional and energetic event coordinator at Naples Bay Resort.  She makes things so easy for everyone.

Chris and Sarah were married outside on the patio, which is on the water of Naples Bay.  Rain was threatening, as dark clouds began to surround the planned ceremony.  With a little luck, and likely some influence of loved ones who have passed on, the storms skirted the celebration, leaving us with only a few sparse raindrops.  The ceremony was beautiful, as Sarah and Chris exchanged their own written vows, as Sarah's brother Kevin performed as the officiate.

Cocktail hour was enjoyed outside on the patio overlooking the water, as guests enjoyed upbeat sounds from Michael Buble and other artists.

Dinner was served inside the dining room, which has recently been remodeled allowing a lot more usable space.  After their meal guests were happily up and out of their seats, dancing to a mix of music from all generations.  Chris and Sarah said they wanted a fun, dance party - and they told us they got exactly what they were hoping for.

Best wishes to Chris and Sarah - what a wonderful way to begin your lives together!

Joe and Joanna 05.02.15

What a very nice couple!  They found us through their Venue, Bellasera Hotel in Naples, Florida in December of last year.  They were referred to us by Liz Sanders.  Thanks Liz!

Joanna and Joe's Ceremony took place at the hotel courtyard.  Scott and I provided two lav microphones (one for the Officiate and one for Joe) as requested.  The Ceremony started at 4:30pm so we played some piano love songs about 15minutes early so their guests had some music for seating.  The Ceremony music Joe and Joanna chose was:  "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" IZ and "Is This Love" Bob Marley.

Following the Ceremony was the Cocktail Hour upstairs on the balcony where Naples DJ played some upbeat listening music.  It was a beautiful afternoon.

The Intro song was "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke and the First Dance Song was "Turn the Lights Down Low" by Colbie Caillet.  It was party from then on!  The final encore song Joanna and Joe chose was "Last Dance" by Donna Summer for all their guests to enjoy.

Robert and Laura 03.07.15

Unbeknownst to Laura and Robert, we were needed to provide sound at their Ceremony.
(From me, a pat to Scott on his back ;-)

The Introduction to the Reception!  "Party Rock Anthem" LMFAO

 No words needed, right!

Another great party!  This celebration took place at LaPlaya Beach Resort here in Naples, Florida.  The Photographer: Luminaire Foto.  Videographer:  Naples Original Video Productions.

Laura and Rob's First Dance was to "Hey Pretty Girl" by Kip Moore.  Father / Daughter "The Way You Look Tonight" by Adam Levine / Maroon 5.  Groom / Mother "Don't Blink" by Kenny Chesney.  They also had a "Parent Dance" and we played "Unforgettable" by Nat & Natalie Cole. It was a great party with about 70 guests.

Brandon and Victoria 1.31.2015

Brandon & Victoria found us on the Internet to plan their destination wedding here in Naples, Florida at The Inn at Pelican Bay.  When we met with them in advance of the wedding to go over the order of events and music they described how they wanted their reception to be "Low key and Fun"!  They also advised us that they would like some Arabic and Spanish music so, they provided us with some of their choices on a CD to be incorporated into the evening.  It was a great night for an outdoor wedding reception!

Some of the Vendors that we worked with:  Artichoke and Company, Kay at the Inn at Pelican Bay and Victoria and Brandon's photographer was Greg and Lexy whom were friends of theirs.

The music they chose for the Introductions was a Mariachi band song and the Bridal Attendants had fun form an arch for the two of them to walk in to.  The First Dance Song was "Our Love Is Here To Stay" Louis Armstrong / Ella Fitzgerald.  Father / Daughter Song, "Vals Para Una Novia"- Alejandro Jaen (A Spanish Waltz).  Mother / Son Dance was "Child Of Mine" Carol King.  Big Band type music was played for dinner.  The rest of the evening was a lot of dancing!  They were very thankful to us and we were honored to be part of their wedding celebration.

Kevin and Sherry 01.24.2015

Sherry and Kevin chose their Ceremony and Reception location to be at The Strand Country Club in Naples, FL.  It's a gorgeous venue!  Sherry was so excited to show her creativity by having a Winter Wonderland themed wedding.  Wow!  What an amazing job she did too!  Everything was planned to be outside.  As it turned out the "Blizzard 2015" brought us in Naples, Florida a lot of wind!  So.... the plans were changed to inside to preserve the decorations and not to have her guests windblown, etc.

The Ceremony was in the front foyer and started precisely at 5pm.  Sherry walked down the white runner isle to "At Last" by Etta James.  The Recessional song Kevin and Sherry chose to exit to was "This Will Be An Everlasting Love" by Natalie Cole.  It was beautiful.

The guests went into the Grille Room for some "Signature Drinks" and appetizers.  Scott played upbeat music for them to enjoy at the newly wedded couples request.  While the guests were enjoying themselves, Sherry and Kevin did their First Dance in private in the main ballroom.  They danced to "Leather and Lace" by Stevie Nicks.  Afterwards she changed into another bridal gown!

Introductions were at 6:30pm and the songs played were "I Gotta Feeling" BEP, "I'm Too Sexy"- Right Said Fred and "Simply The Best" Tina Turner for the newly married couple.  The Toasts and dinner (which was delicious) was completed and we got right into the party with the open dancing!  Later, there was the Cake cutting along with an Ice Cream Bar!

Kevin and Sherry chose the encore song for the end of the evening to be "I've Had The Time Of My Life" Bill Medley / Jennifer Warnes.  It was a great time!

Ben and Olivia 01.17.2015

This was a perfect weather day for an outdoor Ceremony and Reception at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village!  Olivia and Ben contacted us in April 2014 about providing the entertainment for their destination wedding.  They were planning it from Minnesota and were referred to us by Rick and Patti Mastandrea from Reel Treasures Productions.

We, Naples DJ provided everything needed for all the days events including uplighting on the Tarpon Terrace.  The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour took place on the lawn area overlooking the water at the Westin.  The Reception was up on the rooftop on Tarpon Terrance.

At the beginning of the Reception we were to only introduce the Mr. and Mrs. into the terrace.  Ben and Olivia went right into their First Dance song which was "God Gave Me You" by Dave Barnes.  After dinner is when they did the Father / Daughter dance to "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle, an edited version. Then the Mother / Son dance to "That's What Mamas Do" by Jason Matthews, also an edited (by Scott) version.  The Toasts and Cake Cutting took place after dinner.  Then.... LET THE DANCING BEGIN!!  What a great fun crowd!

Something a bit different that we've never seen before at a reception was that Olivia and Ben cut into a cake but, on each table was a different individual cake for each table!  Yummy!  Check out some of the photos I got of them, here!  They did also have a photo booth for their guests to get some fun photos taken.
