Dr. Jeff and Nicole 5.9.14

This couple was very fun to get to know over the planning phase!  They are both so smiley all the time and they have a wonderful sense of humor!  Nicole and Jeff planned their wedding from New Jersey with their son C.J. and chose the Naples Beach Hotel for their destination wedding.  The Ceremony was out on the white Florida sand along with the Cocktail Hour. The wedding reception took place under the Chickee Hut.  The sunset was gorgeous!
Jeff and Nicole had about 60 guests attend their wedding reception.  It was so perfect to be outside for a reception.  Okay, it was a little warm out during the day but it wasn't long before the sun set and it didn't matter to anyone anymore.

After Greg and Alex from New Ground Photography finished with the sunset photos we started off with the Intro's of the Bridal Attendants.  The song for the parents and Bridal Party was "Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns N Roses.  For Nicole and Jeff, they chose the song "Ants Marching" by Dave Mathews Band.  They went right into their First Dance to "Show Me What I'm Looking For" by Carolina Liar.  (They took dance lessons and did a wonderful job having fun with it!)

After the Toasts, Blessing and Dinner we had Jeff and Nicole do the Cake Cutting.  "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perry is what they chose to have played during this.
Jeff did the Mother / Son Dance with his Mom to "If I Can Dream" by Elvis Presley since his Mom is a big Elvis fan.  We did some Happy Birthday's to a couple of guests and the guests also enjoyed a Photo Booth Area that was also provided by New Ground Photography.  The rest of the evening and all in between the guests at the wedding reception enjoyed our music.  Even the non guests at the Naples Beach Club bar/restaurant enjoyed the music and dancing!

Brandon and Blaire 4.21.2014

This was a Monday night destination wedding at LaPlaya Resort with 36 guests!  The photographer for the night was Luminaire Foto, always a pleasure to work with!

For Blaire and Brandon we (Naples DJ) provided the music, emcee, etc. for the wedding reception.  Once the guests were inside the ballroom we introduced the Bridal Attendants and the newly married couple to "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz, very fun!  Blaire's Bridesmaids were mostly made up of her 7 or so sisters!  Can you imagine!  7 sisters having weddings!  Poor Dad. ;-)

Brandon and Blaire went right into their First Dance after the Intro's.  Their First Dance song was "Everything" by Michael Buble'.

Several Toast were made throughout the night mostly during dinner.  Then, the Parent Dances.
Father / Daughter dance was to "It Won't Be Like This For Long" by Darius Rucker.
Mother / Son dance was to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts.

Later, between the dancing they did their Cake Cutting  and the Bouquet and Garter Toss.
Garter was removed to "Hot In Here" by Nelly
Bouquet Toss was to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce
Garter Tossed to "Right Round" by Flo Rida

It was a great celebration!  We made sure to play "Hang On Sloopy" since most everyone was from Ohio area.

Shaun and Katie 4.12.14

What a sweet couple!  These two went all out on their wedding day.  They chose to have a wedding planner to help them out with things.  April Kelly from Simple Elegant Weddings did a fabulous job bringing things together for Katie and Shaun's wedding day.  It's always great working with April.

All of the events took place at the Inn on Fifth Naples with Hope who was great to work with.  The photographer for their day was Photographic Images by Jim.  Cake was done by Ella's Cakes, and flowers were by Southwest Floral.

We, Naples DJ provided the Ceremony System outside by the pool.  It was set up differently.  The chairs were arranged in a spiral circling around Shaun and Katie in the center so, when walking down the isle, they walked in circles to the arch in the middle.  All the guests had a great view wherever they were seated. The Cocktail Hour took place in the same area outside as the Ceremony.

Once the 75 guests were seated inside the main ballroom we started out with the Introductions of all the Bridal Attendants and then Katie and Shaun.  They chose for everyone to be introduced to "Happy" by Pharrell williams.  Shaun and Katie went right into their First Dance song which was "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.

After the Toast and Dinner the newly married couple did the Cake Cutting.  They chose the song "Ice Cream" by Sarah McLaughlin to cut the cake too and to open up the Dessert Table too!

Shaun danced with his Mother to "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong and Katie surprised everyone by dancing halfway through with Shaun's Dad.

Katie and Shaun's wedding reception was great!  Guests of all types enjoyed dancing throughout the night!

Matthew and Elizabeth 04.05.2014

These two young professionals were referred to us by another previous couple that chose us for their wedding entertainment!  Thank You Nick and Jamie!  When Matt and Liz first reserved our services they were living in Fort Myers, FL.  Approximately four months later they had moved to Michigan! No worries we told them, we do, and have worked with many wedding couples that are out of state.

Liz and Matt chose us to do their Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception and also our Monogram Projection set up.  This meant our day started early too.

It was our first time performing at the Olde Hickory Golf and Country Club.  What a gem this facility is!  The Ceremony took place on the golf course green at the back of the club.  It was a warm beautiful day!  The Cocktail Hour followed upstairs in the main ballroom, which was perfect for all to enjoy the air conditioning and the amazing monogram projection that the wedding couple designed!

Scott introduced the Ushers and Bridal Party to "Bring 'Em Out" by T.I.  The New Bride and Groom chose to be welcomed in to the song "The Downeaster Alexa" by Billy Joel!  They went right to the middle of the dance floor to have their First Dance together as Husband and Wife.  Their special song they danced to was "All Of Me" by John Legend.  After their dance they stepped over to do their Cake Cutting in order to let the staff be prepared to serve cake right away as dessert along with the Champagne toasts.  The song for the cutting of the cake was "How Sweet It Is" by Michael Buble.

Matt and Liz were doing a great job getting around to seeing all there guests during dinner, which made a great transition into the Parent Dances.

Father / Daughter song: "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle (our special edited version).
Mother / Son song: "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts.

They chose to have some dancing under way before we had them do the Bouquet and Garter tradition.  Garter Removed: "Foxy Lady" Jimi Hendrix
Bouquet Toss: "Findin' A Good Man" Danielle Peck
Garter Toss: "Black Betty" Ram Jam

Of course we had to play the Michigan Fight Song and the Ohio State Song- " Hang On Sloopy"

Liz and Matt wanted a fun party and what a success it was!  The reception ended with "Friends In Low Places" by Garth Brooks.  It was a great party!  I'm sure the photographer Maria Glassford was able to get some great fun shots.  For their Honeymoon they went to St. Lucia to a Sandals Resort!

Oh!  Thank you Liz and Matt for that wonderfully detailed, AWESOME review for us on Wedding Wire!

Steve and Laura 04.04.2014

This Friday April 4th, we provided the entertainment, DJ and MC for Steve and Laura's wedding reception.  They had a small wedding of around 33 guests along with some children.  The Reception was at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club's restaurant across the street and on the golf course at Broadwell's.  There wedding photography was done by Donna Meneley from A Moment In Time Photography.

We started the evening off with the Introduction of Laura and Steve to "Forever" by Chris Brown.  They went right into their First Dance song "Just The Way You Are" by Billy Joel.  Following this Steve and Laura wanted the wireless microphone to welcome everyone and thanking the guests that traveled to celebrate with them.  It was a very classy gesture.

Dinner was served and the music played at their request was a mix of casual beachy music such as Mraz, Cat Stevens, Jack Johnson, etc.  Between dinner courses Laura wanted to share a special dance with her daughter Lily whom is in second grade.  That danced to "By Your Side" by Sade.  Part way through Laura wanted the other guests to join in their dance.

The Cake Cutting was after dinner, and the rest of the night was a PARTY!  The kids were allowed to make some requests too so all had a great time dancing and having fun!  Steve and Laura provided glow sticks for all to have fun with and they also had a babysitter that took care of the kids later in the evening when they got tired!

A few weeks after the wedding when their schedule allows, they're taking a trip to Atlantis for a week!  Sending our best wishes to a great couple and their new family!
